This picture was made using C4D with a plane, a Displacer deformer (which I also used for 017), with some noise added to it, if you click inside the noise to access its properties ( in the shading tab) you slowly find, how you can manipulate it, change its octave setting to 1, change the noise type to Gauseous, increase the global scale, cycles to 2-2.5, then go into the plane and change the segments in the height and the width to about 200 to give the plane more geometry. Then added a texture from the content browser. (I did also change the animation speed, so there is a moving video version) 🦸🏾♂
