Steps. Add a sphere and a torus, then add a Voronoi fracture, to become a parent of the parametric objects, then go into sources and click the point generator, which generates the points, and the fracturing, you can also put other generator objects inside this sources box. Change the distribution type to exponential to get access to the pints direction, change the point amount 100+, check to create point per object, there will be 100+ points per the sphere and then the same for the torus, change the axis affection to Y and X-axis and switch of Z-axis scroll down transformation below to move the points, you can then see the box around the objects move in accordance.

To control the movement of the fracturing pieces add a time effector, this effector changes position rotation and scale over time. so it relies on the duration of the timeline, once added to the Voronoi fracture. double-check it is added. add a linear fall of to the time effector then change the orientation for this so it only affects the top corner as we can see. change the pos. rot. and scale parameters of the time effectors so the pos in the X and Y allows the pieces to shoot of in the direction you want then check the universal scale to -1 to. so the pieces decrease as they move over time.

add materials add a luminance material and a turquoise material, the go into the Voronoi fracture and go into the selections tag, then select inside and outside selections, once you do this you will see selection tags (orange triangles) added to object manager, next to the Voronoi fracture, drag the right tag into the right material, so select a material the drag the triangle into its selection field. Add some lights I added a key and a fill which can be seen on the inside faces, without this you would just see a kind of 2d result.
